The History
This was purchased from a store in Newcastle by the current owner in the late 70s and has remained in his possession since, sharing stages with Steve Marriott, Def Leppard, Spandau Ballet, Ian Gillan Band, Sonja Kristina (Curved Air), UB40, Steve Gibbons Band, Wreckless Eric, The Eurythmics, The Rezillos, UB40, The Members, and Eddie & The Hotrods – and many, many more.
One of the highlights of the owners time of owning it, was performing with it, on stage, with Brian Johnson of AC/DC, doing a rousing rendition of “Nut Bush City Limits”, during breaks from their “Flick of the Switch” world tour. And, another lasting memory is of Jimmy McCulloch (after he'd just parted company with Paul McCartney's "Wings") strumming the guitar backstage at one of his gigs at the Music Machine/Camden Palace, London circa ‘78/79.
