The Bass
The Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass is a beautifully crafted recreation of one of the most iconic bass designs in music history. Faithfully capturing the look, feel and character of an early-1960s Precision Bass, this model combines vintage-inspired details with the quality and consistency of modern Fender USA production.
Finished in stunning Daphne Blue, this example looks fantastic, with the pastel blue finish perfectly complemented by the rosewood fingerboard. It's a classic vintage Fender colour combination that really gives this bass plenty of personality.
The American Vintage II series was developed to recreate the instruments of Fender's golden era, paying close attention to the original specifications, finishes and appointments. The early-1960s Precision Bass design offers a comfortable playing experience, with a familiar neck profile and the straightforward layout that has made the P Bass a favourite among bass players for generations.
At the heart of the sound is the vintage-style split-coil Precision Bass pickup, delivering the unmistakable P Bass tone: deep, solid lows, punchy mids and a beautifully focused response that sits perfectly in a mix. Whether you're playing fingerstyle, digging in with a pick or laying down a solid groove, this bass has all the warmth, authority and definition you'd expect from a classic Precision.
A fantastic opportunity to own a modern USA-made recreation of a vintage Fender classic, finished in one of the most desirable Fender colours.
