The Guitar
This is a 2023 Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Center Block Stop Tail, finished in Claret Burst
The Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Center Block is a fantastic semi-hollow electric guitar, combining classic Gretsch styling with modern versatility, impressive playability and plenty of tonal character.
Finished in stunning Claret Burst, this 2023 example features the iconic double-cutaway Gretsch design, complete with an arched laminated maple body, distinctive bound F-holes and elegant cream binding.
Featuring a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups, the G5622 delivers a powerful, articulate sound with plenty of clarity, punch and warmth. The pickups offer excellent versatility, making this guitar equally suited to rock, blues, country and jazz.
The chambered spruce centre block provides additional sustain and resonance while helping to control unwanted feedback when playing at higher volumes.
