The Guitar
The Gretsch G2622T Streamliner is a fantastic semi-hollow electric guitar, combining classic Gretsch styling with modern playability and a wonderfully versatile sound.
Finished in striking Gunmetal Grey, this 2022 example has a distinctive contemporary look while retaining all the vintage-inspired character that makes Gretsch guitars so appealing. The double-cutaway semi-hollowbody design features a centre block, helping to deliver plenty of resonance and sustain while keeping feedback under control when playing at higher volumes.
One of the standout features is the factory-fitted Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Not only does it add to the unmistakable Gretsch aesthetic, it also provides a smooth and expressive way to add subtle movement and shimmer to chords and lead lines.
The guitar is equipped with Gretsch Broad'Tron humbucking pickups, offering a powerful and articulate sound with plenty of warmth, clarity and punch. From clean, rounded jazz tones to gritty rockabilly, blues and classic rock sounds, the G2622T is a hugely versatile instrument.
The comfortable nato neck and laurel fingerboard provide an enjoyable playing feel, while the dual volume and tone controls and three-way pickup selector make it easy to dial in a wide range of sounds.
A great-looking Streamliner with a factory Bigsby, combining classic Gretsch character with a modern finish and excellent versatility.
