The Guitar

This is a 2019 Fender Rarities Flame Maple Top Chambered Telecaster, finished in Natural.

Part of Fender's exclusive Rarities collection, this limited-edition Telecaster combines the familiar feel of a classic American Fender with premium tonewoods, boutique appointments and a beautifully figured flame maple top. The Natural finish really lets the grain take centre stage, complemented by a striking four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and traditional Telecaster styling.

The chambered, roasted alder body makes this guitar wonderfully lightweight and resonant, while the flame maple top adds a premium look and a lively, articulate response. The combination delivers a balanced tone with plenty of clarity, warmth and sustain, making it equally suited to clean rhythm playing, blues, country and classic rock.

The bolt-on maple neck features a comfortable Modern C profile, paired with a maple fingerboard and 9.5" radius for a familiar, easy-playing feel. With 22 narrow-tall frets and a full 25.5" scale length, it offers plenty of room for expressive bends, chord work and lead playing.

The H-S pickup configuration pairs a Fender ShawBucker 1T humbucker in the neck position with a Hot Vintage-Style Telecaster single-coil at the bridge. This combination delivers a versatile range of tones, from warm, rounded neck pickup sounds to the bright, cutting twang that has made the Telecaster such a classic. The three-way selector, master volume with treble bleed and master tone keep the controls simple and intuitive.

Further appointments include a vintage-style three-saddle string-through-body bridge with compensated steel saddles, staggered sealed tuning machines and chrome hardware.

A particularly attractive limited-edition American Fender, the Rarities Chambered Telecaster offers a fantastic blend of lightweight comfort, premium aesthetics and classic Telecaster character.
