The Guitar

This is a 2010 Squier Simon Neil Signature Stratocaster, finished in the striking Fiesta Red.

Designed in collaboration with Simon Neil, frontman and guitarist of Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, this signature Stratocaster combines classic Fender styling with a specification tailored towards powerful, expressive rock playing.

Based on the familiar Stratocaster design, the guitar features a solid alder body paired with a comfortable maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The traditional double-cutaway body provides excellent access across the fingerboard, while the familiar Stratocaster proportions make it comfortable and intuitive to play.

The pickup configuration is designed to offer plenty of versatility, delivering everything from bright, articulate clean tones to punchy overdriven sounds. The Stratocaster's distinctive body shape and classic Fender-inspired appointments are complemented by Simon Neil's own signature touches, giving this model a character of its own.

Finished in Fiesta Red, the guitar has a fantastic vintage-inspired appearance, making it an appealing choice for Biffy Clyro fans, Stratocaster enthusiasts and anyone looking for an affordable signature model with a bit of individuality.

A particularly interesting signature guitar celebrating one of Scotland's most recognisable modern rock guitarists.
