This is a 2004 Taylor 410-L7 Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar, finished in Natural.
The Taylor 410-L7 is a special limited-edition take on the classic 400 Series dreadnought, featuring solid Indian rosewood back and sides in place of the ovangkol typically found on standard 410 models of this era. This combination of tonewoods gives the guitar a beautifully rich, resonant voice, pairing the clarity and projection of a solid Sitka spruce top with the warmth, depth and complexity of Indian rosewood.
The dreadnought body delivers plenty of volume and a strong low end, making it an excellent choice for full-bodied strumming, flatpicking and accompanying vocals. The rosewood construction adds depth and harmonic richness, while the spruce top keeps the overall sound clear, articulate and well balanced.
As part of Taylor's 2004 Fall Limited Edition collection, the L7 specification makes this a particularly appealing option for players looking for something a little more distinctive than a standard production 410. The Natural finish highlights the wood's character, complemented by understated binding, a traditional multi-ring rosette and a tortoiseshell-style pickguard.
The mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and comfortable 1 3/4" nut width provide a familiar and enjoyable playing experience, while the traditional 25.5" scale length offers plenty of string definition and headroom.
