The Guitar

The Epiphone Sheraton II is one of the most iconic semi-hollowbody guitars around, combining elegant styling, classic construction and a wonderfully versatile sound.

This 2004 Korean-made example comes finished in a beautiful Natural finish, allowing the character of the figured maple-style top and traditional semi-hollowbody construction to shine through. With its distinctive double-cutaway body, ornate headstock inlay and classic appointments, the Sheraton has a look that is instantly recognisable.

Built around a laminated maple semi-hollowbody with a centre block, the Sheraton II offers a lovely balance of resonance and sustain, helping to control feedback while retaining the open, airy character associated with semi-hollow guitars.

The dual humbucker pickup configuration provides plenty of tonal flexibility. Expect warm, rounded neck pickup tones, clear and articulate sounds in the middle position and a punchier bridge sound that works brilliantly for blues, jazz, rock and beyond. Whether played clean or pushed into overdrive, the Sheraton has a distinctive voice all of its own.

The comfortable mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard make for an enjoyable playing experience, while the traditional tune-o-matic-style bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide a familiar and reliable setup.

A fantastic Korean-made Epiphone semi-hollow with classic looks, versatile tones and plenty of vintage-inspired charm.
