The Guitar
The Ibanez JEM555WH is part of one of the most recognisable signature guitar ranges ever produced. Designed in collaboration with legendary guitarist Steve Vai, the JEM series combines distinctive styling, exceptional playability and the versatility needed for everything from expressive clean passages to high-octane lead work.
Finished in classic white, this example features the unmistakable JEM body design, complete with the iconic Monkey Grip handle and distinctive Lion's Claw tremolo cavity. The rosewood fingerboard adds a traditional feel, while the comfortable neck profile and 24-fret layout provide plenty of room for fast runs, wide bends and effortless access to the upper frets.
One of the highlights of this guitar is its HSH pickup configuration, loaded with the original DiMarzio pickups. This gives the JEM555 its versatile tonal range, with powerful, full-bodied humbucker sounds alongside the clarity and articulation of the middle single-coil. Whether you're after Steve Vai-inspired lead tones, punchy rock rhythms or cleaner, more expressive sounds, there's plenty to explore.
At the heart of the JEM555 is its double-locking tremolo system, allowing expressive pitch effects and aggressive dive-bombs while helping maintain tuning stability when correctly set up.
A fantastic opportunity to own a piece of the Steve Vai signature family, complete with its original DiMarzio pickup set and the unmistakable looks and playing feel that have made the JEM such an enduring favourite.
