This is a 2001 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Reissue Les Paul Standard in Flamed Cherry Sunburst
 
What a looker of the guitar this one is. The top on this is pretty epic if you ask us. The late 90s into early 2000s Custom Shop models are brilliant. This 59 version is killer looking. Just enough flame to catch the eye without being overpowering.
 
The Custom Shop models from this era are awesome. The Custom Shop was using Classic 57s in their guitars back then and im convinced the 90s/2000s Classic 57s are different to the modern ones as they sound so much better to my ears.
 
Slim neck on this. Not anywhere near the modern R7/8/9 necks that we have these days.

Condition
This is in great condition for its age.
Light surface marks from use as expected.
Some deeper scratches to the left of the neck pickup from play wear.
Some deeper scratches to the right of the stop bar/abr1 near the neck volume pot.
The sides of the body have some scratches and indentations.
The back of the body has some surface scratches, buckle rash and a new nicks.
The back of the neck is in great condition.
Some residue either side of the nut from a replacement.
The frets are in great condition with minimal wear.
The electrics have been fully tested and working perfectly.
